Eighth season and feature film

HBO confirmed that Entourage would return in the Summer of 2011 for a shortened season, which will be the show's last. Season 8 will contain six episodes, confirmed by Mark Wahlberg. Creator Doug Ellin is also planning on writing a film after the series ends. In November 2010, Kevin Dillon said no film has been confirmed. [12]

Yep - I live in the Boston area and work downtown.

Won't have anything like the Sopranos again. Guess they thought Boardwalk Empire would fill the void but it hasn't come close.

Yeah I know. I have been wanting to visit Boston for several years. I want to go to Fenway. Im from the south and dont know anybody from up there but just always wanted to go. Even watching The Town last nite made me want to visit even more. Im booking a trip this fall. Let me know the good areas to stay and to go.

Yeah - The Town was cool. They filmed some of it right outside my office and it was neat seeing and hearing some of the car chases.

Lots to see in the area and many ways to get around. Fenway Park for a game is definitely a start. The Faneuil Hall area and harbor would probably come next. Let me know if you need more thoughts as your planning happens.

Give Boardwalk a chance... Yeah it started off a little bit slow but i'm pretty sure it's because they are in it for the long haul. Meaning a lot of seasons. They're just building the characters up right now. Just wait till Jimmy and Al Capone start bossing up. Also Lucky will be running sh!t later down the road as well.

I don't like it either - should at least do a full season. Guess the actors must want a lot per episode and they'll figure the movie will make more anyway.

It really isn't though. It's an entertaining show but really very far from great.

Always been a pretty good show, but fukin' repetitve as hell. Every episode was the same as the last it seemed like...Opens with the 4 of them walking somewhere, capping on each other...Drama says something funny, Turtle makes fun of him, E tells them both to shut up, they go to Ari's office, theres a problem, he tells the asian dude he better go **** a black guy, Vinny gets laid, they fly to Italy, the end.

its about time they ended it, the writers completely ran out of ideas and stuffing every episode with 5 hollywood/celebrity cameos per episode can only get you so far...

Never really watched it much. But with that being said DEXTER blows Entourage out of the water. Dexter is the best TV show of all time in my humble opinion!

This was announced before Season 7 started. I'm looking forward to the movie, but I'm really going to miss having new episodes to watch. Easily my favorite show of all-time.
