The details? Those who could write something of value are not in the market. Those who are in the market would write little of value. (This was known as soon as SBR refused to give a payment scale, while asking for high caliber handicappers...).

Their company..their choice. I think that most anyone that would get picked would have their detractors. If not that, then hurt egos would go over and get mad at the selection process.

Would I have liked to be considered? Yes but in the end its their playground and I like it.

No callback here as well, sent them examples of my sbr blogs and my phone but nothing. I see they hired a guy well known stiff, paid in points, it's their decision.
