I used to play billiards in a red cloth table. At first I disliked it but I grown accustomed of it, and kind a liked it. Playing tennis in a red clay surface or blue court is not that uncommon. So, why football is different?

I hate it. I am against colored fields in general for a variety of reasons, but colors that bright are barf-inducing. If you are determined to have different colored turf, at least tone down the shade.
