Stevey i feel 4 u bro....Been in same position myself a few years back, only it was pot....They will say its all cool in the game at the beginning but then when push comes to shove they expect u to quit as though its some kinda pre-requisite to the continuation of the r'ship...Its obvious she can is insecure and cant be honest to the person that really matters in this situation...herself....otherwise this thread would have been non-existant....
Thing is do you stay and try and work through this with her (if u think she's worth it) OR do u see it as the beginnings of a avalanche in which she will try and control the things you do....You say she does martial arts so my guess is that she has a controlling (maybe passive in nature) nature to begin with. If so then you have to make her see this but in a educated manner (ie not confrontist)....
On the other hand though u admit that ur a bit of a alcy and as such maybe a temporary dry spell would be good for your physical health but only cos u would want to, not cos someone said to do it....

I don't like her telling you not to drink at all but if you like her you might have to tough it out for the night. Just don't let her make it a habit of telling you when you can and can't drink. It will only get worse.

The problem is I feel like she is trying to establish a president here, as a few other mentioned, and I full appreciate everyone's feedback.

She DID just get her 2nd DUI she IS going to jail for it I DID NOT do any of that.
Now this is not a one nighter this is a girl who wants to meet my parents, wants me to meet hers etc.
