A lot of this Washington mess comes from the owner Daniel Synder. This guy is loaded and throws $$ around everywhere...McNabb, Haynesworth, Moss contracts and even Shanahan's contract. He is under the mentality that he can buy a championship and it will work but clearly it has not over the years.

IMO they are planning to move on from mcnabb next season anyway. So they figure wtf, lets try grossman and maybe Beck and we might get ourselves a higher draft pick while we're at it.

Grossman will not have a shot at starting qb next year. They'd be blown out every game. Not sure exactly why they soured on mcnabb so early pulling him with 2 min in the det game, but they are clearly done with him. I'm sure it's been hell on all parties since that horrible decision.

Two comments

1) Look at all of the all the pregame shows and watch all the black commentary guys go bannanas over Mcnabb's benching.
2) Why'd they just pay Mcnabb? This NFL franchise is run like a joke. Snyder, Bruce Allen and the Head coach need to be on the same page. The Redskins are a circus and might as well have PT Barnum running the team.
