Yikes. I'm not looking forward to that stage where my son is old enough to understand when I promise him something. Today was supposed to be our trip to see Santa and get his photos done. But by the time he had breakfast, a bath, lunch and then a nap, it started to piss down with rain here so I decided to postpone it until tomorrow so I don't risk him getting more sick.
Not sure if that was such a smart move though seeing as how tomorrow is Saturday and the last weekend before Xmas. Mall will be a zoo!!

16 months on NY Day. And he's at that age where everything really fun I could buy him for Xmas he's still too young for and he basically has everything else for his age group. I guess I'll just take him tomorrow and in between running people over with his massive pram, just buy him whatever makes him giggle as always. I guess I should be thankful he's not old enough to be into PS3's and computers and stuff so I can save my pennies for awhile longer.

And it's not impossible to prove. One simple phone call will do the trick. Many have taken the plunge before you with the same theory, in fact one did last night - they're just lucky I didn't collect on our bets.

I'm actually proud of myself. No bets for over a week and continuing. There just hasn't been much I like and I'm kind of bored of it all. I'm not the type of person who just throws money down and checks the final score so when my heart's not in it, it's best for me to stay away since I like the excitement factor. That's why I loved LBs NBA thread last season.Cannot wait that long! We always just make phone calls via Skype so it's free for both of us and I'm just another username to them. There are a lot of good people on this site and it seems that the loudest doubters of my gender/existence turn into the biggest puppy dogs when we're on the phone and they realise they're wrong.
But then we've proceeded to have some awesome conversations about gambling and it's actually helped to keep me up to date with what's going on back home because we don't get a lot of info here and to be honest, I'm not really the most proactive in searching it out for myself anymore. Out of sight, out of mind.

I would like to move to england now mainly because of my love of the epl and just get away and start afresh.
