Kinda have to agree here. I donate a little money on the holidays (would be more if I could win a f***ing bet!), but my first thought wouldn't be to do it with points. Also, as a gambler, I think using points for donations would be a negative EV compared to what you could do with them anyway... so giving real money might just be a better idea altogether.
