Used to be a decent rivalry in like the 80's. I was too young also, but i just know from things i've watched and read.

didn't realize that, didn't really follow basketball until after the last lockout.

thought maybe it was a carry-over of yanks/sox and pats/jets rivalries which are pretty heated since all those teams are good and compete for the playoffs, etc.

its makes espn worst than fox news because i least you can watch a different news channel but there isnt an other real sports channels
