I'm pretty sure he's a former poster. I gave him a point yesterday because I wanted to see if he was capable of receiving them, which he is.

But either way he seems to be a decent guy from his posts so it's all good with me. Wish people would stick with one name though.

Au contraire mon frere. Skype is completely mobile. I can, and have, been doing my grocery shopping in Australia while having a phone conversation with someone on the other side of the world. All completely free!

It is, but they also have a mobile app. Download it to your phone and then you can live chat or make calls for free as long as the other person is a Skype contact of yours and is online too.

They try to sting you other ways ie me calling your mobile or home phone from skype when you're not online. You pay for those calls and they offer cheap rates so they hope you'll use them instead of your regular long distance provider. Plus you can buy a skype phone number and a 1 800 number. JJ knows about all of that stuff better than I do since I just stick with the free calling and chatting.

shari skype mobile needs wifi.. it cant connect call using just a 3g connection.. however if you have a jailbroken iphone and have the 3g unrestrictor app you will be able to connect calls using your 3g connection
