I love SBR and I believe that honest gamblers needs a heads up when something bad goes wrong with a sportsbook..Agreed? I tried to make a deposit at Intertops SPORTSBOOK today, here is what happened.. Well, I tried to make a $500 deposit today 12/14/2010 utilizing a **.. I input my information and the screen read "pre-authorized" and I needed to call 1 866 546 0406.. I began to freak out because this never happened before..Then, I treid to call, each time I called and reported what I was calling for, they hung the phone up on me.. This happend 6 times in a row. Then, I called and said "Hello, I would like to speak with someone to set up an account" Guess what? They began to speak to me then. Next. I ask to speak to a member of management, and I was transferred to a lady whom of which had a name I could not begin to repeat. Then, after I explained why I was calling and provided her with my account number, she hung up on me. I have called several times and some bullshit happens every time. I have called my credit card company and it has been charged to my account? I filed a dispute because the money is still not in my account..**** these people!!If I could get to them I would rip their ******* heads off..I do not play that much, and when something like this happens, it just discourages me that people want to rip people off..Like them people do not make enough money..What am I to do...I thought that I would let you good people know not to mess with this Book...Someone help

File a sportsbook complaint with SBR, they will help you get your money back or get the money put in your acct. I'm guessing you'll want the first one though

Hell yeah man, I want my money back. Of course they are not going to admit this stuff...I am going to file a complaint...Just wanted to give heads up and try to help others out man..

Pretty sure he's already familiar with that process. Just a hunch.

I actually like Intertops and have nothing but great experiences with them. I don't use them anymore but I once did.

Pre authorize basically means your card is being red flag by the cc the company. Intertops probably wants nothing to do with that card. Don't deposit their no more than once a week via cc and you'd be fine. I only use debit though.

I will add my own experience with Intertops. This was years ago, no issues with deposits, the issue came in with limits being cut. Near the end they limited me to 10 dollars a wager. Perhaps that was their way of saying please leave. I request my money and received AGAIN no issue with deposits or cashing out, they cut my limits 'cause I won a little.

I call bullshit on this. Initial deposit limits on Credit cards at Intertops is $250.00 It says it very clearly on the payments page that new players might be limited. When you tried to ram $500.00 in, the pre-authorization kicked in where you had to call. I would be surprised if you did not have to furnish the credit card image and ID before it is approved.

I have played at Intertops for the better part of a decade with no serious problems. I will continue to play there.
