Getting killed in spring training bases
After a decent start, I've been getting hammered the last few days. I'm now 12-17 in the spring and I'm all in today. I admit I'm betting on tilt and I'm pissed off. If I lose all my bets today, I'm done betting for the spring. I have allocated a budget for spring wagers and it's looking grim. I have six plays today I believe. If I go 0-6, I'm done. Part of me wants to be done. I'm sick of this shit. The way I've been losing is sick...nothing going my way. Losing games in the 9th inning and shit like that.

Bro, stop betting spring training. I can see a few plays here and there when you need action, but 29 bets and counting?

Unless you have good info about which team might be using better players or might be leaving better players at home, I'd skip the exhibition bases and focus on HOOPS.

It's a familiar refrain in the first half of spring: a veteran pitcher gives up a bunch of runs and shrugs it off, saying he was "just getting my work in." Sometimes, Scioscia said, it's actually true. A pitcher may throw all fastballs if he is "having trouble with fastball command and is trying to nail it that day," said Scioscia, the former Dodgers catcher.

"Orel Hershiser would have a few games where he'd give up six or seven runs in two or three innings and feel good about his progress. You don't feel good about the results, but you have to look at the bright side -- you get to practice cutoffs and relays."

-- Mike DiGiovanna, Los Angeles Times
These players are not neccessary playing to win, so you have to be very cautious about games you choose to get involved in.

            Ronald,

First off what are you doing betting preseason baseball? It's a guessing game for degenerates.

What sportsbooks are taking spring training game bets?

Just scanning the scoreboard it seems like a lot of high scoring games with one team doing most of the scoring usually. Those scores make me salivate hoping that the trend continues so I can correlate them in parlays and my new favorite sportsbook that lets me do that but doesn't post spring training lines. What books do?
