The Metrodome didn't fell. The roof didn't collapse. The roof was punctured and the snow that was on the roof fell on the field. If Favre was playing when this happened it would have had the same effect as throwing a snow ball on someone wearing a thick padded helmet.

Learn the facts first. The press will always put big titles in their articles to draw the crowd because saying the roof fell or the dome collapsed makes more dramatic affect than reporting the truth which was the roof was partially punctured at a small area and some snow that was on the roof fell on the field.

I saw the video. I doubt more than 100 lbs of snow fell on the field. And it didn't fall like an avalanche. It started falling first from a small hole and then it started falling as the hole on the roof grew bigger but it was not an avalanche.
