Wish I could interview him. "Jerry, what will it feel like watching two other teams in the Super Bowl at the Jerry Dome? Will you be thinking about draft picks during the game?"

It must be terrible having 3 Superbowl rings and being one of the richest men in the country.

Anyone who isn't impressed by what Jerry Jones has accomplished in his life is simply an idiot. Its not like he inherited all this from his father.......he's a self-made man. Why I'm not a fan of all his moves as the Cowboy's owner, I think he did a great job in the interview. I fell he was 100% genuine in every way.
I had the opportunity to visit with him one-on-one for about 15 minutes at a small party back in '96. He was the same way then. say what you will about JJ....he's one of the best salesman of all time. I admire that.....

The problem is, Jerry wants to be known as a football guy and he's out of his league in that respect. As long as Jerry has a hand in the players the Cowboys draft, they'll suck.

Yeah.....it must suck to be Jerry Jones.
I mean, what with 3 Super Bowl Trophies to call his own-----an iconic Stadium he basically owns----and arguably owning one of the three most valued sports franchises in the world. That must truly suck.
I mean---it certainly doesn't stand up to being posting on SBR.

99% of NFL fans hate the Cowboys because of who the owner is. I'd bet you when he dies no one will go to his funeral.

Really? 99% hate the Cowboys? Wow!! I wonder how it is that the Cowboys account for OVER 25% OF ALL MERCHANDISE SALES IN THE NFL??? How could that be?

The question that SHOULD have been asked was ..... "Have you ever built a winning team that didn't have Jimmy Johnsons fingerprints all over it" ??
Since it was Jimmy Johnson that built the dynasy that Switzers was able to enjoy the fruits of....until it slowly disintergrated ... and hasn't been close to since, and they haven't been back to prominence since
as for merchandise sales...... only COWBOY fans feel their merchandise supports the league....here are the FACTS
Here are the top selling NFL teams, according to NFLShop.com this year:
1. New Orleans Saints
2. Pittsburgh Steelers
3. Dallas Cowboys
4. Minnesota Vikings
5. Indianapolis Colts
6. New York Giants
7. New England Patriots
8. Chicago Bears
9. Philadelphia Eagles
10. Denver Broncos Here are the top 15 NFL players jerseys, according to NFLShop.com this year:
1. Brett Favre, Vikings
2. Drew Brees, Saints
3. Peyton Manning, Colts
4. Troy Polamalu, Steelers
5. Adrian Peterson, Vikings
6. Tony Romo, Cowboys
7. Tom Brady, Patriots
8. Eli Manning, Giants
9. Jason Witten, Cowboys
10. Reggie Bush, Saints
11. Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers
12. Aaron Rodgers, Packers
13. Mark Sanchez, Jets
14. Larry Fitzgerald, Cardinals
15. DeSean Jackson, Eagles
The entire organization lives in the past... even the paintings on Jerry's plane were of players from 15 years ago ... jeez, guy get a grip

Wow. Thanks MTek. I really appreciate you clearing things up for me.....and all Cowboy fans. Those fools on 60 Minutes should have consulted you before airing that BS regarding the Cowboys popularity in the sports world. You could have set them straight with neat facts like Brett Favre is the #1 selling jersey! Of course, Brett Favre alone is more popular than the Dallas Cowboys!! Bunch of fools up there at CBS.
Also, thanks for setting me straight about Jerry Jones. What a dumbass that guy is, huh? Hillbilly paid $70 million for the Cowboys back in 1989....now they're only worth like 1.8 BILLION DOLLARS!!! What a dipshit this clown must be!! Fool then went and built the largest stadium in the world. He's clearly an uneducated moron. No wonder you never see him posting things in this chit-chat room of ours!!
Here's an idea........why don't you change out of those stained sweatpants, turn off Halo 3, and venture up the stairs leading out of your mother's basement. Maybe this will help you to "get a grip".

The guy maybe a good businessman bad he is the worst NFL owner because he can't assemble a winning team. A winning team consists of players, coaches and managers. He thinks just because he owns the team and can make money he can win championships on his own.

Jones owns the #2 most valued sports franchise in the world.
Behind only Manchester United. How's that for living in the past?

Well actually you are wrong and you are right
If you look at sales year to date then it is the Cowboys such as like a time span of over a huge chunk of years such as 10
vut if you go by the single year then that will change every year because the team that wins the superbowl sells alot of merchandise
