It's all good - had to make sure you could receive them. After Xmas I'm becoming a Grinch and saving these up for the iPad. I refuse to waste the cash on one myself but I desperately, completely, with 100% of my being want one. So pathetic but so true. My son's wasted 2 laptops already and has almost gone through his 3rd so the iPad is my last chance.

Oh awesome! Thank you Dutchy!! I'm just refusing to shell out cash for Apple products until my son is old enough to learn "no". MacBook - destroyed. First iPhone - destroyed. Nokia - destroyed. A PC laptop - destroyed. And now he's trying to go to town on the laptop and iPhone that 2 posters brought to the hospital when he was in there two visits ago and I realized I was literally incommunicado. No point in my blowing cash on any electronic product until he's a bit older I don't think. But $250 for an iPad would be great. At that price I'd actually consider getting him one so he can drool over Talking Tom Cat 24/7.

There is something called a Toughbook that we use at work. It will take liquids and you can drop it. Not cheap although you have already dropped enough Aussie Bucks to have bought one due to rug-rat (RR) interaction.

Back to the ipad: I have a friend who has put a plastic applied shield on the screen and some sort of rubber edge as an anti-RR defense barrier. That seems to work well too. Since the ipad hasn't a harddrive, it is pretty tough.

GF is good, although she hasn't done the cheerleader thing lately.
