How Superstitious would you say you are? I think all of us have a little bit in us no matter what we say..

I'm probably average, around 5 or 6. It takes special effort to inhibit my superstitious tendencies.
It seems like there would be a simple psychological test online somewhere to measure degree of psychological superstition, but I can't find one. Oh well.
I think most of us are more superstitious than we realize. Superstition basically means belief without basis in reason or facts. Generally speaking, religion or faith of any kind can be defined as superstitious. Not to mention the number of undigested slogans, propaganda bits, sound bytes, etc we are bombarded with every day of our lives. We probably believe all kinds of things of dubious origin if we really think about it. It's suprising we are sane at all in modern society.

I guess i'm at level 1. There are no seemingly disconnected thoughts, ideas, actions, tangible objects, paranormal bull shit or anything that is in reality contingent on one another. People who make connections such as these are just noting a quirk of unrelated items that seem so. In short all the correlations are spurious.

I don't know if I'm superstitious or have some mild form of OCD.
I don't truly believe in any of my superstitious activities, but I do entertain them. I'm vigilant in rejecting any superstitions that would lead to -EV tendencies such as having 3-5off as a favorite holdem hand or even some ritual that would slow me down on a +EV video poker game.
However, when it comes to harmless superstitions such as lucky clothes or repeating certain activities while running good, I'm pretty susceptible.
I'm aware that it's pointless but somehow it makes me a little happier. I'm sure it's just my brain grasping for a sense of control over random events.
I'll give myself a 6.

I'm a Taurus with Pisces rising and we're not superstitious at all.
(You can call it -eiπ,ut of 10 which I've always considered a very lucky number.)

Lets say you bet on a football game and your team is covering by 2 and the other team is lining up for a field goal...give the kicker a good ole "he is automatic" it works miracles my friend.
I will also drink the same thing or chew a piece of gum or something if I did it the previous day and had a good day.
