U. S. fans have many, many more options than those European, monosports countries. Believe me. People from Germany dont have the chance to make a choice.

More clubs, which means the choice to choose different teams, so it's pretty much the same.
Best atmosphere is in South America, Turkey, Eastern Europe.
As far as I know, Soccer is virtually the only major sport in Europe. If Im wrong, please tell me ...

Not only that but there are also so many teams that support gets divided. More teams in one country for ONE sport than there are for all sports in the US.

After one of german league games was over today, I swear it was like the team just won the championship. I have never seen anything like it, the intensity was unreal and only a regular season game.

I dont think Soccer is the best sport to bet on. To succed at sportsbetting, you need the most data you can get from the same team or the same league, so that it will be easier to find patterns and trends.
There are two problems with Soccer: very few games are played each week (in the same league, the same team). One, maybe two. In contrast the NBA and MLB play everyday. With Soccer you can not bet everyday (in the same league, again). However, this is not an issue for the people who makes one or two bets weekly.
The other problem is, Soccer generates very few useful statistics. Goals scored is the most important, but there are not many of them in each game. The rest of the stats (shots per game, offsides, yellow cards) are a joke compared to the info from a Baseball or Basketball match.
The least we know about a team, the least we know about a league, the better for the books. With Soccer, the House has the edge.

Let US sports be US sports and the world sport be the world sport. All of these are cool and unique.
A lot of people in Germany would love to see US sports grow bigger in their country. But this would take decades.
And I could imagine americans are satisfied with their traditional sports.

In how many American sports do you have fans of teams travelling to other countries to support their teams?
