It's good.. Leonardo De Carpio is not a real cop, he's a crazy man.. Also Mark Ruffalo is not a real cop, he works in the island..

All of the people in the island are acting based from Leo's crazy reality.. The doctor, mark ruffalo, the cops are all on the same page and acting their shit for Leo.. His wife killed their children that's why he got crazy and shit but in the end he become normal.. hope that helps..

I read the book (good) kept me wanting to read more. The movie was good, I would say it is worth watching. 3.5 out of 5 stars.

What Maxcraft did in Post #2 is why I don't put up posts about movies in here anymore. For some reason that I can't place, there are people in here who LOOOVE to be total a--holes and ruin movies for others -- it's like their favorite thing in the world. These fukkin' trolls should be taught a lesson, but there's nothing you can do.

Anyway, I was disappointed in the movie. To me, it was too slow and seemed to be "trying too hard" to be creepy, but wasn't genuinely creepy. It was also not very believable at all. I expected more from Scorcese.

For quality movies in the same ballpark, I'd recommend "Identity", or maybe "Session 9". Also this flick called "Triangle". I love movies.
