Although you'd have to wonder when you talk to hardcore Aussies. Took me months to be able to understand everyone. It's a great place to visit if you have money but I honestly wouldn't suggest anyone from back home move here. Never.

Too far from home, starting to get a bit of an Aussie accent when I say certain words, government is fukked, last electricity bill was $1200, a lot of violence popping up and the cops here don't do shit, costs a minimum of $600k to buy a decent house anywhere close to the CBD, etc... As I said, it's a great place to visit if you have the money to do it properly but living here is a whole other story. At least in the city I'm in.
