Petition To Get Paco's Thread Back Up

First of all, I would like to say that regardless of the outcome of last night's NFL game there was NO REASON for SBR to shut down Paco's thread because of some arguing between posters. It's Paco's fault that he was attacked? So if we have a sports thread going here and someone attacks us personally we are not allowed to defend ourselves without getting our thread closed?

Listen I have a stake in this as well. I don't want someone coming into my sports thread and going ballistic. It's not Paco's fault but he was penalized for responding to aggressive abrasive racism and negativity, on a personal level. Yet, no explanation from SBR. They have no idea what to do so they close the thread. So Pavy, this actually is a different thread, with a different purpose.

If I remember correctly paco had a thread back in the summer that was closed and then he started another one. Now that one is closed too. What's the problem with starting another thread?

That thread was gayer than brock. EASILY the best season long thread in the history of SBR. But to keep going in it in baseball with the same 20 guys giving paco E-BJs for everything he says.

I would bet that once sbr realizes how much traffic has dropped because you're only posting through there, your thread will be reopened sooner than a week. Or if you want a temp home, use my tennis thread. I've never had any problem with people discussing other sports in there and the Mods didn't either. There's no tennis on right now so it's all yours if you want it.
