    Parlaying and Hedging....
Hey all...what do you guys think about placing 2-3 team parlays and hedging them??

I mean, taking some Home favs or something that you are confident will win and then hedging the dogs...

Is there any opinions about this?

If you are parlaying and hedging... why don't you just place straight bets, not hedge, and save some juice?

Well Justin...I am not good at capping spreads...I can pick teams just to win better....so that's why I was wondering if parlaying and then hedging for insurance would be smart???

Fine, pick winners. Play them straight on the moneyline. Quit playing parlays until you have had 2 winnings years in a row (just my advise).

Its possible. I would say pick up to 3 teams. Say a Friday night NBA game. A 1pm NFL Sunday game and a 4pm NFL game. If your lucky enough to make it to the 4pm game then your hedging options are available to you. Now it will be up to you to see if betting the other side would be profitable. Say you placed a $10 parlay with 3 teams paying $70. You won the first 2 legs and now just have the 4pm game to sweat. Your last leg of the parlay is a -200 game. So your option now would be betting the DOG ML. Now its up to you how much you want to win by hedging. I hope this makes sense.

if you have a chance to hedge a final leg you should.
