#74Hmm. Well, everyone is different. It's a far better beer in the hot sun. Something you could drink 6 of easy. Harder to do that with the bigger wheat beers like Hacker.Comment -

#75I hope you are pouring these into a glass. In fact, the Hoegaarden actually has instructions on how to pour the yeast out at the end, printed on the bottle I think.Comment -

#79Yo, bomber. I'm about to tell you something that is considered crazy blasphemous among craft beer drinkers, but you might be interested in trying a wheat beer with a fresh slice of lemon or orange. It adds some flavor and makes it a bit more refreshing.
I used to do it as a newbie beer drinker... well, because the bars/pubs always gave me a wedge with my wheat beer. I don't do it anymore, but you should give it a try. You might like it, especially if you are treating it as a session beer.Comment -

#81Anchor Steam Beer (B-)
- Has that pungent/earthy citrus hops, grapefruit rind scent. Tastes malty. Easily drinkable. Pretty decent.
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (B-)
- Also pungent/earthy citrus hop, grapefruit rind scent. Tastes like a mild version of the Celebration. Hardly to no bitterness at all, despite being a Pale Ale.
Sierra Nevada Torpedo Extra IPA (A-)
- The perfect balance between the Pale Ale and Celebration. Has a bit of bitterness and fresher hop taste. Smells less pungent/earthy than the Pale Ale.
Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale (A) *Seasonal*
- The Celebration is certainly the best of all three. Hardly or no pungent/earthy smell. The aroma from the wet hopping smells so nice. Best flavor and aroma of the three, also. Very floral/fruity and super fresh. The most bitter, but I love it despite that, which is surprising because I'm not a fan of bitter beers. This would be my session beer of choice, but since it's seasonal, Torpedo will take the slot.
Miller Genuine Draft Light 64 (D)
- I'm getting strong water notes and extremely light beer notes. Very carbonated. I guess it's pretty decent if you need a water substitute.
Miller Lite (D-)
- Same as above, but I get some stanky notes in this one.
Currently in stock to be reviewed:
- Ridgeway Lump of Coal Dark Holiday Stout (seasonal)
- Lagunitas A Lil' Sumpin' Sumpin' Ale (seasonal)Comment -

#91Blue Moon is similar in style to the german beers but once you have had the Hacker and Franz it's an afterthought, at best.Comment -

#103Did anyone mention Presidente?
It's from the Dominican. You can get it in some parts of the States, but not everywhere.
It's one of my all-time favorites. Lived in the Virgin Islands for a time. Drank it every day. Could go threw 20 of them a day and not wake up hung over.
The key is to drink it as cold as possible. No more of that talk, or I'll put the leeches on you.Comment -
