I occasionally like to smoke cuban cigars but I'm not a smoker. I do that after big wins or at family gatherings. I'm like Tony Soprano. I only like cubans.

#9You cannot legally buy Cuban cigars in the U.S.
Has been the case for decades.
Virtually all those billed as Havana in the US are fakes, from Dom Rep, Mexico, or other banana republics
Cubans are legal in Mexico, but better know where to buy. Most of those sold in the liquor stores are fakes, made in Mexico.Comment -

#10If you are near the Baja/Calif border you can buy genuine Habanas in Rosarito, about 17 toll road miles south of the TJ border crossing.
Get off at the Rosarito exit, and head south of the only main road in that very Americanized town. Stop when you see the big Rosarito Beach Hotel on the right.
Park on the street. Then cross the street and head back a half block, you'll come to a cigar store, with nice humidor in back etc.
Forgot the name, but there is where you will get genuine Habanas. Good selection. And, NOT cheap.Comment -

#11I consider myself pretty knowledgeable in cigars. Cuban cigars are overrated. By that I mean there not bad, but you can get equal or better cigars from the Dominican Republic or Honduras. They are all Cuban seed cigars and the top makers have exceptional quality control. Want a great full bodied Dominican cigar try Gloria Cuban series-R, Honduran try Puros Indios. There are soo many nice Cigars out there. By the way I have smoked Cubans, my grandfather had 2 factory's in Cuban till that cock sucker came in with his revolution and took them from our family. If you want a nice Cuban cigar my personal is Romeo y Julieta (fvck Cohibas) way overrated. Smoke em if you got em boys!Comment -

#13Another benefit of cubans is that since they are not regulated by the US smoke industry they don't have the addictive substances they insert in the regular smokes you buy at the store and cubans also have been known to promote health by releasing stress. Look at Castro, he has outlived more that ten US administrations and he loves lighting his cubans.Comment -

#18I hate the commies too pal. I still believe though that if the US ruled Cuba the quality of the cuban cigars would have gone down because they would have used genetic engineering and herbicides that kill the flavor of a virgin cuban that's grown on the high mineral virgin soils of cuban mountains.Originally posted by HAPPY BOYnope are they Honduran?
