Ever witness someone get hit by a car?

Happened to me tonight. Only me and one other witness - was not good

The victim was up and functioning but I'll never pass through that corner the same way again. And it's one of most well known corners of Boston's North End.

There are even several signs saying "Yield to pedestrians when turning..." and "Watch for turning vehicles..." but at night all bets are off. Crosswalks?

I'd be very careful crossing roads or riding a bike in America....people cannot drive.

Yes. Rainy night little asian girl is crossing @ light and SUV turning left hits her at very low speed but she just goes FLYING.

no, but witnessed a car fly through the air, hitting a pole and two people climbing out..then it burst into flames..thought I was in a movie, was actually my 3rd day in a new city where I moved.

When I was in the military I saw a guy land on a mine and blown apart into pieces. Not a pretty scene.

Yes. Its terrible. couple years ago i am driving down a road and went to make a left turn at a light and the guy behind me thought it would be a good idea to just follow me without checking to see if he had enough time too turn also. well he didnt. car coming opposite way smashes into him and causes his car to go helicoptering into a person walking on the sidewalk. very bad accident. pedestrian was hurt badly.

This collision sounded so loud it was like the guy hit 'something' and not a 'someone'. And we're talking a pretty puny guy here.

thats wild all these stories...i'm surprised I haven't yet, but been in a few crazy accidents myself

Yes. I seen a mortorcycle tbone a car. He was going at least 40mph
