To OP. I think a lot of us do and even those who may say no. I'm sure the thought of what they may be up to has come about. I don't think about the relationship, just how she's doing. Sadly, I do this with good friends. I stop talking to them. Obviously its two-way since we both lose touch. Thats just human nature, really.

Profit - I have no idea how you're staying friends with chicks. They must be all single. No way a chick is going to remember you or long when she is with someone and vice versa. Just doesn't work in the long run.

I think about my ex quite a bit. It's usually nothing more than wondering how she is doing and hoping she is happy (honestly, we had a good break up). I still talk to her a couple times a month and during the holidays. I've since moved away from her and she has a new boyfriend, but I still miss her and her family, they're very nice people and her parents helped me out quite a bit. I don't think it's sad, people recover at different paces.
