I got 12th but I made a stupid mistake. I called an all-in with my 2 pair. I have an adage I like to follow when playing poker: "Never fall in love with your 2 pair when there's a pair on the board". I should have folded because even a 3rd card with the pair on the board would have beat me. This was especially bad since I had 18,000 points and sitting in 6th place with 12 people left.

This is great advice Capy. I've told myself to take my time before but it helps to read it from someone else.

I think the reason I called all-in is because I was short-stacked earlier so I was more inclined to call all-in. I should have stepped back and reset my thinking once I won a couple pots to get to 18,000.

Pretty sad state of affairs for SBR Poker Players. I've final tabled and came in second a couple of times now and I know NOTHING about Poker...I'm going to keep it that way.

yeah. i'm saving my points, instead of losing them so i can download the poker room. i played in a non sbr 2K freeroll today , and lost to trip jjj's my qqa losing to a river j. ouch. this guy bet off all his stack with poket jj, with a queen on board. LOL
