    College and nfl need more white cornerbacks
    I just don't understand how some wr are open and nobody within 10 yards of wr. Whatever happened to being 2 yards off the wr and just run to where the wr is , and all teams should have a safety deep to read and go to where the play is developing.

    I just think most white corners would do a better job as long as there not related to jason sehorn

              Funny, I've been studying this exact question, "where are the white NFL CBs".

              Of the 64 starting NFL CBs, none are white. I can safely say none of the top 100 NFL CBs are white, the closest is Cortland Finnegan who has one white parent(so he's as white as Obama). It's a strange trend, there haven't been any starting white corners since Jason Sehorn moved to Safety in 2003. Now, any potential white corners get moved to safety, Eric Weddle is a good example, he could be a mediocre corner rather than an all-pro safety.

              It's just a funny phenomenon I can't quite get my mind around.

                          Perhaps. Julian Edelman might be a good case study. NE has used him at CB even though he is a WR (QB in college).

                          But there are a lot of fast, white, athletic guys at Safety. It seems to be an issue with defensive scheme. I'm still curious.

                                      White guys cant change direction/react fast enough, Dustin Fox from Ohio St. had like a 46 inch vertical but still couldn't cover anyone.
