I've heard that you are basically obligated to sit through a presentation for a few hours and then have to say no a dozen times but once you're done with that the trip is pretty much free... anyone have any experience?

I've done a couple in Florida years ago, you sit thru their 90 minute program, say no, etc, etc.

The one I did, offered trips to Vegas or Orlando, so we took the Vegas trip.

The MGM properties push Tahiti Village like crazy. Had it pushed on me literally a dozen times my last visit. Amazed MGM would whore themselves out for a property that advertises in filler spots on late night TV.

Planet Hollywood will give you $160 chips for $80 if you sit through their presentation.

I believe this is the one that has been tempting me... I didn't realize that they were advertising on tv (as I don't watch tv anymore) but have been hearing it all over the radio... they most be having a real hard time selling their shares...

I'm not interested in owning time shares as I'm already pretty much aware that this is a scam... just getting some free travel/hotels rooms out of appearing interested...
