It was on Cinemax last night and I missed the first 20 minutes and the last 20 minutes but it was at least an interesting movie where it gave you a taste of what life was like over in Iraq for a soldier.I know guys that were there and I saw a few things they mentioned seeing or doing.It just seemed over the top though where it was cartoonish and clownish where soldiers were getting dear John VCR tapes disguised as movies of their wives screwing other guys back home and how they all behaved like juvenile delinquent dysfunctional animals amongst each other.Then the politics of war and fights among differing opinions came up a lot between the guys was an obvious sign of an agenda by the movie maker.Same goes for the way the soldiers gave interviews to tv crews from back here where it was sort of comical what they said.It was just too stereotypical and everything was telegraphed as to be believable.It was like a composite of everything that you ever heard of people acting like during a war where you would have to take 50 soldiers memoirs to pack the film with all the seedy crap going on in one unit.
