I wonder how Papelbon is feeling about this?

ESPN Reports: Mariano Rivera turned down a 2 year, $30 million offer from the Red Sox to return to the Tanks.

they red sox are planning another run prevention season. they just don't want to use those words as it backfired last year after they gave up a ton of runs. so they moved the fences in right field in to prevent runs or so that dh oaf who is really about 38 years old can hit 4 more.

Yeah like he would of ever gone to the red sox. they were probably just trying to piss off yanks. Yanks will now have the last laugh and sign carl crawford as payback for that.

Sox pitching still would concern me.. Lester is good, Beckett hurt all the time, dice k is a 5 inning guy, lackey is a stiff

I think they were just messing with the Yanks. I'm sure they knew Mariano wouldn't sign with them.

Sox will end up getting Heath Bell from the Padres too.

If the Sox had signed Mo they could have just made Papelbon a starter again.

Last year every time I saw how our bullpen blow a lead was horrible!

Buchholz and Lester were the only ones that can be trusted. And even Lester failed couple of times.

Beckett is already not a starter he can't pitch no more than 5 innings, Dice K same thing.

Lackey is unpredictable he can pitch well and he can pitch like crap.

About the bullpen I've just one word, Crap!

The only one that showed something was Bard.
