    Public % Question...
If a line moves or if one is tracking RLM, does it matter how many people bet on a game?? Like is there usually a threshold that one should have in terms of number of bets on a game? Example: for true RLM, does there need to be a certain amount of bets on the game like 3,000 or 5,000? Or does the number of bets not matter?

      Yes.

Books will trick people looking for RLM just to get volume.

Ask yourself this question: Do coaches and players on the teams playing watch line movement and adjust the game plan or the execution of plays down the stretch accordingly?

A RLM play with less than 2k bets can win or lose just like a RLM play with 10k bets can. their is no magic number.

public %/line movement does NOT matter UNLESS 70% or more of the public is on one side and instead of a team that is already +3 instead of moving to 3.5 or 4 it goes to to 2.5 or 2 then either dont play it or take the team that went from +3 to +2

Even under those conditions, if there are only 100 bets placed, then 1000 placed after the RLM, its obvious whats going on

It really isn't hard for the books to make sharps look like squares

perfect example was south flroida +3.5 wednesday night line went to 2.5 and 29% of the action was on south florida. They ended up winning SU

I get the public percent part....but what about volume of bets? Does it matter if there is 500, 5,000 or 10,000 bets??

Exactly. Books weren't getting much public action. Only way for them to get any action was to bait those that look for RLM.
