Ganch should investigate the pm's and have Bad Nina's correct answer taken away.

I did not PM a picture of my lady lumps to Ivanator. I might have PMed a picture of my dingler to Sporty though

He would find nothing in my PM box. It hasn't been used in days.

Sporty would have been my next guess, but I can't believe she she gave it up for a "dingler". A "dangler", however...

Just like I thought, too much English. Ganchrow, please have a warning next time.
Ganchrow, was not for you. I, and I think, many people here appreciate your effort coming up with the puzzles and I am thankful for this. It was for the puzzle that I thought was unfair.
There are posters here from many different countries and backgrounds. If a puzzle is not culture neutral then the attempts to solve it are not going to do any good for those posters who, say, have never read a single piece of English literature in English. Since the puzzle creator puts them at an obvious disadvantage, it seems only fair if they could get an upfront warning that could save them from the disappointment.

All these songs contain frequently misunderstood lyrics (for example, "There's a bad moon on the rise" is often misheard as "There's a bathroom on the right"). These misunderstandings (which are in essence a sort of pun) are collectively known as "Lady Mondegreens".
And right there would be your answer.
(Google the phrase if it's still unclear.)

Thanks Ganch. The answer link is now disabled, but I'm assuming "laid him on the green" was the winning phrase...

I have to agree with you I think Laid him on the green is right.
I went to college and I would have never figured this out had we not had the last clue....I must be a lot dumber than I thought.

You got it.
As far as the answer box goes, there's an issue with the database, for which I'm trying to find a workaround.

Ganch has a way of doing that to all of us. He's a tricky, tricky word smith indeed...

Note To Self: Scratch necrophilia off the list of topics I thought might have been out of bounds on here (and breached by one of our hallowed women, no less)

Watch it Sportsgirl, or you just might be steering even more from your public portrayal than "Client 9"
