Terminal pancreatic cancer, what a horrible and painful way to die at such an early age. Life is extremely tough. Here's hoping that some sort of miraculous hold off or remission occurs

I certainly agree with having regular lab work, but some stuff (like pancreatic cancer) doesn't show up in the lab work until the horse is out of the proverbial barn.

You're correct about that. Average survival time after diagnosis is four to nine months. A few of the lucky ones live two years. Five year survival rate, last time I checked, was about 5%. Long story short...If you have pancreatic CA, you're going to die and sooner rather than later.
