    Like a term policy?

I want to buy a life insurance policy on Julian Assange, that WikiLeak gentleman. I dont I have anything against him per se I just don't think he is going to continue with a healthy heart beat for much longer. Any insurance guru's out there?

I wonder if they'll find him. 9 years later, billions of dollars spent, and they still can't find Osama.

Life Insurance was not meant as a way to play the lottery, so to answer your question. NO.

You can only purchase life insurance on people that you have an insurable interest. You could put it on your employees of course with there approval and be called Key-Man Policies. Many large companies do this for there top executives and such.

If I could take long odds I would say poisoning the way they did that Russian spy who defected. I think radiation poisoning? Whatever it was it was a very painful, slow and a 100% certain. They could have sniped him but they wanted to send a message.

I was thinking the same thing. That was the guy in London right? I think there was a rumor about Bob Marley getting some kind of odd disease.

This is correct. Must be "insurable interest" as defined by the life insurance laws and guidelines.

You most certainly can get insurance on anything.

However, insuring this guy's life would entail outrageous premiums. It wouldn't be cost effective.

maybe there is a reason that he is still alive? Think about the flip side, what does the government get if he is dead? I'm talking financially not emotionally.

Nice try, but they don't sell such insurances any more, because that is what brought down AIG and the whole market with it two years ago.
