i haven't bet any, but i do make picks on paper just to see how i'll do, one day i pick almost all right, then the next i get them all wrong. the thing about it to me, is your basically betting on a teams strength of hitters, because the pitchers are only throwing about 2 innings each.

Haven't made a bet yet on it. If I find something I"ll hit it but pitchers still havent hit their stride. Some are going a whole 3 innings now.

Wrong as usual, but no surprise there. Even if you don't have any handicapping ability and don't trust the market at all for these games, there are numerous arbs available out there.
Also, as a fan of sports you are missing out if you don't go to Spring Training at least once.

I personally think there's good value to be found in the spring games if you do your homework, on top of the small edge it gives you for the regular season. I also believe that it gives you a good feel of what's to come in the season. Not exactly by looking at the W/L columns, but by analyzing the players' progress pertaining to who will come out of the gate strong, weak, etc... It also allows me to get early information as to who will round out lineups and rotations. If you're any kind of season-long MLB gambler(Not talking about spot-players), and you haven't at least started researching the league by now, give it up. Btw, my spring plays can be found down in the baseball section. Best of luck this spring and summer everyone.
