The funny thing is that people spend countless hours developing complex mathematical models trying to predict this.

Well if you hit the under on the opener of 194.5 and then tried to middle with the over 192 it was beautiful.

I don't play over unders. 90% of my plays are moneyline underdogs which I often get when they are close to their peak, I'm good at predicting which way the line will move.

Why did Boston foul with 27 seconds left in the game? Boston would have killed the clock without a neeed for a shot by fat bastard.

he ran into him accidentally. it was over.. i had over 192 and turned the channel. i needed like 13 pts in the last min and change.. then it was over again with 30 secs to go and i need 5 to win.. i knew no one was fouling.. but he ran into him accidentally and was sent to the line. wow... now i need 3 to win. i thought BOS would run out the clock like they were supposed to. there was really only 1 possession left. but with 4 secs to go.. big baby loses the ball, it rolls away.. he picks it up and takes a long desperate 3..and... IN... game goes over by 1 pt.
I screamed.. i was in shock.. i didn't believe it. it was great tonight to steal one, but then again, i've been on the wrong side of shit like this many times.. 2 min after this happened... TB tie with like 4 secs to go and then win it in OT.. tough beat. it all evens out at the end.

ANNNNDDD top it with a 1 point loss on 2h under 78 ILL/UNC because the fukin garboon wants to get his doogie on dunking it up 13 in final minute instead of run clock.
This with insane 3s and and-1s with 30 seconds left on shot clock all fuking half instead of running clock.
I.
HATE.

That pretty much sums it up. For every guy who misses a field goal or drops the potential game winning TD pass there's a Hail Mary or two that someone plucks out of thin air.
That's why even with the programs and science and models etc., I still maintain sports betting is as much about feel as anything else. You don't need to bet every night and if you lay low and pick your spots, you can do pretty well.
