This team looks overrated again and believe they will be over priced again this year.
I think I will fade North Carolina for awhile.

to play for UNC. Talent has to be down this year.Comment -

And, of course, it doesn't help that just 8 miles down the road, the Duke Blue Devils may be the best college basetball team in the nation...which just kills the their soul.

#12But PN, I didn't hear any of the TarHole faithful bitching when he was NAMED to the pre-season AA team. Roy, et al only started bitching when he started BRICKING his shots at a 25% rate.

#23I live on Tobacco Road, and I can tell you that this year's UNC team looks a lot like last year's UNC team. Athletic, talented, and inconsistent. Roy Williams doesn't know how to coach. He can't adjust his style to his players. And he has no concept of defense. The only reason he won so many games as he did at KU is because he's a tremendous recruiter and the Big 12 pretty much sucked across the board while he was there. The only reason UNC beat UK is because the Heels were at home, and UK is even younger and more inconsistent that UNC.
That being said, I can see them covering at Evansville tonight. But it wouldn't shock me AT ALL, to see Evansville win. I had to tease UNC down to -5 just to feel safe enough to take them. And I'm still worried.
The ACC as a whole does suck this year. NCSU was supposed to be better, but they haven't really shown it. GTech is incredibly weak. Clemson has a new coach and it isn't on the same page yet. Same with Wake and BC. Miami and FSU are pretty much the same under-achieving teams they always are. VTech got too much credit early on, and is only going to make noise later in the year because they managed (ONCE AGAIN) to luck out and get one of the weaker conference schedules. I really don't know how they do it. But it seems every year they get to play the worst four teams in the conference twice and the best four once. It ticks me off. And they still lost to UVA. hahaha.
Maryland will end up being the second best team in the conference, just like last year, but they aren't as good as they were last year.
Duke is obviously the clear cut favorite. They'll lose one or two in the ACC this year because of a poor shooting night from beyond the arc, or because they get knocked out of sync in a physical game on the road against FSU, Maryland, or VT. I would take Duke ATS all year.No more of that talk, or I'll put the leeches on you.Comment -
