#2I remember the old days when Bodog was giving 20% and 30% bonuses with one time rollovers on every deposit. You could get bonuses on money you just won. Those days are over and with good reason. Also, all the reduced juice books used to offer cash bonuses. There were a bunch of crazy bonuses you don't see anymore but many aren't worth mentioning because there were so many iffy books.
I'll say the hands down winner on a promo was the Mansion free bet. They were refunding up to $1,000 per bettor if one side of an NFL game lost. I forget the game. Not sure if it was MNF or Super Bowl? People's moms and dads started opening accounts and of course that side lost and Mansion took a bath.Comment -

#4There have been a few that come to mind
The free $1000 mansion bet was probably the best
Skybook blackjack promo a few years ago was very good.
vip book had free .5 or 1 pt on your favorite teams that was great and got me kicked out of there
Heritage get out of free halftime bet is great for football.Comment -

#5The Mansion promo was great, I remember it well. The game was Pittsburgh v Miami in 2006 opener. The line was -5.5 Pitt I think, Joey Porter returned a pick for a TD in the last 3m for the 28-17 cover.
I didn't hedge and $1K was alot of money to me back then.Comment -

#6I remember this, and I think I agree. Best promo of all-time. It was the first NFL game of the season. Pittsburgh was one of the teams, can't remember the other. And they were refunding up to $2000! Mansion was a credible book back in those days so of course everyone bet the max without hesitation.Comment -

#7The guy responsible for that "promo" at Mansion back then should never be given a job again
Most scalpers already happily used them, there was no need to bring more bonus whores on board.
I happily took the money, but after that i cashed out everything, well knowing that this exchange was doomed...Comment -

#8Mansion's free $1000 bet gets my vote. I remember getting my funds out of one book and sent to them as soon as I could. Got in just in time and remember everyone complaining who missed out.

#24Mansion had the best offer of all time . i was all over these offer so i still have all the details .
Here are the terms they had :
Sportsbook Promotions
Pittsburgh Steelers 2006 Superbowl Champs Promotion
Simply visit the MANSION Sportsbook and place a minimum Point Spread (Handicap) bet of USD 1,100 to win USD 1,000 (or currency equivalent) on the Pittsburgh Steelers for their game on Thursday 7 Sep 2006. (00:30 GMT 8 Sep 2006)
If your bet is not a winner, MANSION will refund your losses of USD 1,100 (or currency equivalent).
This deal is too good to miss. There’s no better way to kick off the NFL season and no better place than at MANSION.
Hello ********,
Thank you for contacting us with your query.
To make a bet that qualifies for this promotion you must back the Steelers on the Mansion SPORTS BOOK. As long as you stake at least $1,100 or currency equivalent ( see Terms and Conditions on Home Page at www.mansion.com) on the Points Spread option, your bet will qualify for a full refund of your stake, up to a maximum of $1,100 in the event of the bet not being a winner.
You are free to bet more to increase your potential win amount, but the maximum refund available remains at $1,100. You can 'buy' an extra half point to reduce the spread -4.5 and still receive the full refund, but your potential win amount will be reduced by the shorter odds.
I hope that this information helps. If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us again.
Kind Regards
Anthony

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has under gone an emergency appendectomy today and his status for Thursday is unknown.

Early reports have his recovery time extending several weeks into the regular season.
Prior to the game being taken off the board, Pittsburgh was listed as a four-point home favorite, with the total listed at 37
On the 05-09-2006 The line was set at 0 .
On the 06-09-2006 mansion closed the offer, it was only open to 5000 punters .They took total $5.5 million on Pittsburgh . So we are all got stuck with -5.0 line

* NFL Sportsbook Offer has ended.
* Fully Subscribed by members wagering USD5.5 Million.
* MANSION wishes the best of luck to our participating Members.
My whole family was on Pittsburgh+ girlfriend and 2 other friends . I signed up 7 people and let it all ride on Pittsburgh .
Final score Miami 17 Pitt 28 . Mansion end up losing $5million USD .

#25Hopefully they continue that great promo, but I hear it may be coming to an end. My vote for the best promo was a different Heritage offer. Last year when I signed up, they had an initial deposit guarantee--you lose it and they replace it for free (12x RO). I lost my original 2k and they automatically replaced it the day after I went bust. I ran the free money to over 10k with a hot run in the bases and then withdrew the majority of it prior to football. In over a decade of offshore betting, this is my most memorable experience.Comment -

#32They paid everyone on this promo .A year later they closed exchange and UK based sportsbook .Mansion transferred players balances to Mansion88 http://www.mansion88.com . It was same group Mansion exchange ,Mansion sportsbook ,and Mansion88.
Mansion in 2006/2007 also ran another promo for the full season on EVERY Tottenham Hotspurs game . If you bet Tottenham to win and they lose or draw they would refund your wager up to £100 pounds (in 2006 £100 pounds would be over $200 US ) Mansion at the time were sponsors of Tottenham Hotspurs .Later in 2007 they ended relationship / sponsorship with Spurs ( i don't know why)
Mansion88 now days is the leading sportsbook (one of the leaders) on asian handicap and live betting .
Mansion took the beating but they never stiffed anyone . Closed an exchange and UK based sportsbook but paid every penny . I still have an account with them.
Mansion88 is also famous for taking large wagers on major sports .Comment -
