I remember the old days when Bodog was giving 20% and 30% bonuses with one time rollovers on every deposit. You could get bonuses on money you just won. Those days are over and with good reason. Also, all the reduced juice books used to offer cash bonuses. There were a bunch of crazy bonuses you don't see anymore but many aren't worth mentioning because there were so many iffy books.
I'll say the hands down winner on a promo was the Mansion free bet. They were refunding up to $1,000 per bettor if one side of an NFL game lost. I forget the game. Not sure if it was MNF or Super Bowl? People's moms and dads started opening accounts and of course that side lost and Mansion took a bath.Comment -
I remember this, and I think I agree. Best promo of all-time. It was the first NFL game of the season. Pittsburgh was one of the teams, can't remember the other. And they were refunding up to $2000! Mansion was a credible book back in those days so of course everyone bet the max without hesitation.Comment -

The Mansion promo was great, I remember it well. The game was Pittsburgh v Miami in 2006 opener. The line was -5.5 Pitt I think, Joey Porter returned a pick for a TD in the last 3m for the 28-17 cover.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has under gone an emergency appendectomy today and his status for Thursday is unknown.
Pittsburgh hosts Miami on Thursday at 8:00 p.m. EDT from Heinz Field.
The season win total (10 1/2, -120) and odds for both the AFC Championship (6/1) and Super Bowl XLI (12/1) have been taken off the board.
Early reports have his recovery time extending several weeks into the regular season.
Prior to the game being taken off the board, Pittsburgh was listed as a four-point home favorite, with the total listed at 37

Hopefully they continue that great promo, but I hear it may be coming to an end. My vote for the best promo was a different Heritage offer. Last year when I signed up, they had an initial deposit guarantee--you lose it and they replace it for free (12x RO). I lost my original 2k and they automatically replaced it the day after I went bust. I ran the free money to over 10k with a hot run in the bases and then withdrew the majority of it prior to football. In over a decade of offshore betting, this is my most memorable experience.Comment -
