This game was close the first time around in Auburn and I expect the same this matchup. Stephen Garcia actually played well but had two costly fumbles and Spurrier gave him the hook only to replace him with Freshman Connor Shaw who ended up throwing two INTs in the final quarter. Alshon Jeffery had a huge game as has every big wide receiver the Tigers have faced. Auburn is tough against the run (10th nationally) so Lattimore will have his work cut out for him again. Expect a shootout with Cam getting his, but probably another game that goes to the wire. I lean with taking the points and South Carolina.

I'm pulling for Auburn to win and go on to win it all, but I think Spurrier will get his guys up for a tremendous effort and think this game is a total toss-up. It's one of those weird games I feel like either team could win by 10 points.

Auburn plays down to competition. Look at the Kentucky game. South Carolina is a solid program. I think the SCar covers the spread. Auburn probably win by 4.

Why in the hell would they look past the championship game?

They've already had players speaking to the media who have said things like one more win and were national champions. Trust me, they are 20 year olds who are being told they unstoppable, they just had a game where they came from far back in a Rivalry game at bama and now they have to play a team they already beat. I'm not saying they're completely overlooking this game, but I expect usc to take an early lead

Auburn has a poor defense. The only way I see them covering more than a TD is if SC has turnovers (which they are very capable of producing). Spurrier is known for mirroring what works from coach to coach. So I imagine he picked up on some of the things Saban's defense did in the first half and how his defense slowed down AU in the first matchup and keeps the game close.

I like SC to win outright but I'll gladly take the points.

i would take one of the huge fast defensive ends and use them to spy cam with. they are fast, can tackle and hit hard plus auburn wont be able to jam them at the line and linemen cant come out that far to block.

Tickets in hand, USC grad here and make homer bets on them all the time. This game is a win-win for me:

USC wins and we get our first SEC Championship.

Auburn wins and the SEC will win the National Championship again.

Cam should be able to light up SC's secondary, hell Tennessee did. I would love to see SC win in its first ever SEC championship but I just dont think they will be able to keep pace. My prediction on this one is AU 42 SC 21.

This is a game where I would like SC more on the money line than taking the points. Auburn can score- getting 4 points isn't that important to me. If Auburn gets up early and has the lead where Garcia has to beat them then Auburn can just roll to victory. But if its a game like the SC/Alabama game where SC can punch them in the mouth and get a big lead then Lattimore and playaction can carry them to victory outright. So I just want that money line to creep up and up...

I see AU winning by at least 10. Garcia is not a very mobile QB (nor is he very good either) and the AU front 4 will be in the backfield all day long. USC has a good defense, but I don't think it will be enough to stop Cam.

And you have to remember that this game is for the national championship for AU, whereas it is merely for a BCS bid (still good, obviously not as important) for USC. Auburn will come out fired up.

The crowd will be about 65/35 in favor of Auburn because Auburn is only about 1:45 from Atlanta, while Columbia is almost 4 hours away.

I really have no doubts about this game.

I don't think I'd do that. USC has a very strong defense and Auburn's front four looks extremely solid too. Additionally, USC's offense has been up and down all year, with brief flashes of brilliance in a sea of ineptitude. I don't see Garcia playing well at all considering he is not the least bit mobile. Lattimore was completely shut down the first time they played, and I don't really see him putting up more than 75 yards or so on the ground this time. I think the under is very safe, this will be an old-fashioned hard nosed SEC football game. Probably a 28-17 type game.

I'm going huge on S.C. plus the points.. Small play on the S.C. moneyline.. This will not be a blowout game, but one that goes down to the wire.. Spurrier has his kids pumped to bring Columbia their 1st SEC championship.. I can't wait to watch this game..

SC is a very good team. Auburn is a very good team. It will be close. Auburn has been so lucky this year pulling out wins. This game will be a battle, unless SC (Garcia) beats themselves, but I think they show up. SC+6 all day.

I did. And that was a completely different Auburn team. Malzahan's offense is extremely difficult to learn, and each week Cam looks more and more settled in with the offensive schemes.
