For Hoops its usually about 50/50 for me.

For Tennis is 75/25 in favor of dogs.

Baseball its also about 50/50. But I dont play the big moneyline favorites.

it is pretty close to impossible to ever have success, until you learn that DOGS are were income is generated.its pure math really you are getting a avg. of 40% more payout without risking anything extra

If you aren't betting dogs you losing value. As accuscore said you need them to make money. Look at LT in the hockey best bets. 101 wins 102 losses +90something units. Speaks for itself.

So do you mean to say if you only bet favorites you can not make money?

          For me:

More dogs than favorites for football. More favorites than dogs for basketball. Baseball probably an even mix.

I'm not sure if this answers your question or not. Since reading Junkman's ML dog posts for NCAAB I have added bets on the ML on all the dogs I bet on in NCAAB where I am also betting the spread. This has proven to be a money maker. I bet 2x on the spread and x on the ML.

I tend to take small favorites and big dogs. Overall, I'd say 60% on dogs, 40% on favorites.

4/5 of my hoops plays are dogs. The only sport I tend to lay more chalk on is hockey.

75-80% dogs. And the favs I bet are often 5 or less in BB, 3 or less in FB.

Just about on the button in plays at posted here this season. I have had 3 (as in THREE) favorites in CBB/NBA combined out of about 300 plays, and 2 NHL favorites in 201 plays.

i prefer to play more hometeam dogs. especially in conf. play. there just seems to be more value in them and extra variables that favor these plays.
