not yet but if you track the past couple seasons i am sure it has happened one time each yr. usually one guy will score high 50's

glory of scoring points is over for nba players. boring league leading scoring list with about 39 players averaging about 18-24 pts. they should compute it based on minutes played instead of by game.

in the last 10 years, there have only been 5 60 point games, and Kobe had 2 or 3 of those. Kobe isn't scoring 60 this year, and I doubt anyone else will. Maybe Durant. Rose would be a sleeper candidate as well if his jumper gets hot.

I would take the under.

It was actually 62. Dallas as a team had 61 after 3 quarters.

I remember Kobe had:
2. 65 against Blazers
3. 60 against Memphis (?)
4. 81 against Raptors
5. 61 against Knicks

Arenas had 60 against Lakers a few years back.

So basically nobody has dropped 60 anytime recently except for kobe and arenas. and neither of them is doing it this season. I don't see it happening for anyone. Durant isn't enough of a gun and he has enough help. LeBum and the 3 queers aren't going to do it. Rose has been on a tear, he could maybe do it. Monta will have some big games but not 60. Melo has checked out until next season unless he gets traded. Luke Walton is hurt. I just don't see who would do it.

I would have to agree here. Kobe was the only player who you could expect to have one or two 60 points games in the past few years. Arenas did it but that game went into OT if I remember correctly. No one else in the NBA has the ability to go off for 60 points.

That is completely false. I already named 5 times Kobe did it, Arenas went for 60, and T-Mac went for 62 against Wizards back in like 03/04. I'm probably missing a couple too.

i was going by what brnxbombers said, didn't check it myself. I'll take your word for it.

edit: ok, i just checked. There have been 3 60 pt games since 2000 by guys not named Kobe Bryant (iverson, O'neal, and T-mac)

Very interesting prop. I dont think it will happen tho. The only player who has a real shot is Durant. Kobe has too many other scorers now that he doesnt need to carry that kind of load by himself.

I'll throw a wild card out there. Watch out for Michael Beasley. He shoots over 20 shots a game, and there are not a lot of other options on the TWolves. If he has an out of sight night, he could eclipse it.
