this year for the heat reminds me of the Jordan years in washington. I used to get on the ESPN board and argue with a old man about Wizards and he would quote me spreads and bet me embarrassment, and id be damned if he wasnt spot on. he knew when MJ and Wiz would cover and when to take the other team. most of the time Wizards got spanked, the the spread always stayed close.

in memory of that old fart, Im put a nice bet on the Mavs.

Mavs averaging +3 pts difference in 1Q at home this season, Heat averaging -3.7pts diff in 1Q on the road this season...
