actually the casino has to report it to the IRS for less than 10k.
I would've spread the money out at MANY different books to fly under the radar.
Seems going 1.5k/play will keep you under the radar enough to get the job done.

5k is where the casinos ask for ID. 3k was the threshold until 2007. The paperwork required for a 5k cash transaction if it is not part of an automated computer system takes less than 2 minutes for even the slowest employee. For 10k cash transaction, it may take an extra minute because by law the player is required to provide ss #. Caesars and all of the other Harrahs properties will give 20k on NFL sides to just about anyone.
