Once you can do it on phones, PDA aren't enough, I think will take off. If you could go to your book at every commercial and bet in running, don't see how one can't like that. As it is, unless you watch games from the computer or just bet half times, not very convienent.

The real nice thing about in-game betting is that it removes some of the risk for scalpers/middlers who are trying to enter wagers close to game time. Usually if you are unfortunate to get one side in, but the game goes off the board before you get your hedge off, you basically have to sweat the game. Now, if you have some sites that will allow you in-game betting, you might be able to lay off some of your risk.

The problems that players encounter is that the wagering departments look very closely at the time stamps and compare them to game turning events. WHat you are generally not allowed to do is wait for a a tream to score or wait for a turnover and then try to bet the line, before the wagering department had a chance to move it. But iwhat sometimes happens is as you enter your wager, something big might happen, and suddenly your wager gets cancelled, even thought it wasn't your intent to pick off the book. One way to avoid this problem is to be at an exchange. Or just bet during commerical breaks.

i truely feel that this wagering option will grow beyond belief in the future.

this wagering option could be compared to the online poker boom we currently are seeing now.

It's very addictive and that's why the books love it. I think it is here to stay.

              Best In-Game Wagering

Matchbook.com and WSEX are, in my opinion, the best. Because Matchbook is peer-to-peer, you can generally get the best odds there, and the market is never paused. That said, you'll occasionally have periods where there is no action. WSEX offers continual action, but it's occasionally paused, which can be frustrating.

Tradesports.com is similar to Matchbook and tends to offer more events, though it generally has far less actions.

I think it is definately here to stay. On sunday and monday night football games where i have no opinion pregame, in game betting is great when you can get a feel for what's happenning. Alot of money can be made in game if you have a knack for it. Of course the opposite can be true if your gut betrays you, but for me it's been my moneymaker in football this year. The one advantage a book has tho, is that in game betting is extremely ripe for chasers.

Betfair. In-game betting is far more efficient at an exchange.

Tacomax, you are on the right way! In play running, where you can back and lay, you can insurance from your possible winning, where millions are matched....it's almost art.

I love in-game betting. Haven't been doing much lately. The format I prefer is that of Tradesports, but they missed their shot and now their liquidity is nowhere near where it should be.

The WSEX format doesn't work for me, because you need to be able to see the offers several levels deep.

One of the biggest advantages of in-game is that you can get of losing bets without paying full price.

WSEX has some great money to be made, but you have to have a great bankroll to capitalize on them usually

For instance on Sunday, the Pats were down 4 with the ball driving, and I KNEW 100% they were gonna get the Go ahead TD, the line was PAts ML -233

My greatest Live betting bet i ever made with them though, was in the One game Playoff between SD and the Rockies and Hoffman gave up a leadoff double to Kaz, with a two run lead, Right after the Double i pounded the Rockies at +900

2 minutes later i was smiling to no end as Holliday crossed the plate

It has been around for like 4 years and has not grown much at all, it is more for sophisticated bettors and they do not make up many players. A square which makes up most of the action will not play or understand in game betting. Therefore always will be a small market share, in the UK it is a different story mainly due to the Country have legalized bettting and a more savy sports bettor compared to usa.

                            Both crooks!

Here in Asia 70% of the action is in-running!
And if I look at my own betting 90%.
