I have a friend living in Las Vegas who is willing to place some bets for me. He has offered to do it for free but it would be on a almost daily basis over a 3-4 month period so I obviously feel like some sort of compensation is in order. I would be putting up all my own money (he is trustworthy) and telling him what games to wager on. He would basically be handling the money and all things related to getting the actual bet in. What type of offer should I make him? What type of deal is standard in this sitation? Should I be giving him a percentage of my total profits and how much should this be? If I do this, should it be a freeroll for him? For example, he would get paid when I win but I wouldn't have to pay him anything if I lose. However, he also would not lose anything if I performed poorly. I obviously expect to win but also realize that there is no gaurantee of that. Should I just pay him a flat fee? This would obviously mean that he gets paid either way but he also has little incentive to get my bets in before any line movement takes place or possibly drive a few extra blocks to a different casino with a better line because the outcome would make no difference to him.
Any help or advice would be awesome. I would like a deal that is fair for both of us but I have no idea what is standard in this type of situation. I consider him a very good friend and would like us both to be happy with any arrangement we come up with. Thanks in advance.
