they held WVU up until that noel devine run to 24 yards of offense. Pitts D is playing its heart out and Pitt fumbles 4 times and only recovers 1. The weather is fine and the field looks good for Heinz field, they need to get their heads out of theirs asses next half. If wvu scores first its gonna be tough.

Its such a shame to only get 7 with how well Pit played. They coverted 70%+ 3rd downs and got that roughing the kicker and only got 7 points. Insane.

I dont understand why u guys are confused or suprised. WVU has the 4th best defense in the nation and top 3 against the run. they only lack in offense, and with the playmakers they have its no wonder they have a 7 pt lead.

This isnt Rich Rod's Offense, its horrible, Defense wins for the mountaineers now

none of the fumbles went for scores, the closest thing to a score was on the INT, and just now a turnover... its not a pull the ball away defense. is not winning this game, either.

Pitts D just got another big stop. They are playing out of their minds and the offense just cant do shit. On that last 4th and 3 he had his tight end wide open and he tries to thread it into triple coverage.

I try to avoid the stache if at all possible. When I back Pitt, they play like sh*t. When I bet against them, they play like Super Bowl champs. I've found it easier on my stomach and wallet to just pass on the stache...

turnovers change the game, you don't need 100 points from them. pitt is moving the ball and when your offense turns it over it kills your team. if they had 0 turnovers this game would be tied or better for pitt. that being said it is who pitt is and this isn't surprising whatsoever. they choke every other game and are as inconsistent as any team in the country.

I thought Pitt was supposed to be tough on D, they are probably the worst tackling team I have ever seen, I don't even care about either of these teams and I feel embarrassed for Pitt.

I wouldn't say WV defense is that good. I do think that the Big East is in the same category as conferences like the WAC. This conference shouldn't get a auto bid this season.

look at the rankings, stats-wise they are the 4th best D. they hung in with LSU 20-14, they are better than they get credit for. if this offense was half as good as the D they would be a top 10 team.

Horrible Offense! D gets tired from being on the field after 3 and out after 3 and out. but they seem to have something going since their bye week. I think they could play a decent BCS game.
