Wisconsin is up on Manhattan 17-10 at the half. This has to be the new record. My Jaspers look awful.

    Combined FG: 12 for 55
    Combined 3PT: 1-17
    Combined FT: 2-4

40 rebounds in the game, 27 points.

    Only seven guys have scored.

17-10 sounds like a football game to me at the half.

I know Wisconsin usually has a decent team, but I think this is the last straw. They need to be kicked out of NCAA before they set basketball back 94 years.

Wisconsin traditionally plays this slow boring style, they are the hardest team for me to watch

Kentucky beat Cincinnati 24-11 in 1983. Of course, that was before the shot clock was introduced. It was 11-7 at halftime.

Yeah, they held a team to 10 first half points. They're terrible.

Yea this happened a lot back then, would love to find a number on lowest scoring half since 1993 (year shot clock was reduced from :45 to :35).

you are clearly too young to remember basketball before the shot clock...

I remember back when South Carolina was still in the ACC and had John Roche, et al (we're talking 1969-1970)... McGuire would sit back in his 2-3 zone and the opponents would just hold the ball. I think the score of the Maryland game was 5-4 at half.

I remember a Duke/NC State game that went off 12-10 final.

Dude, when did I say anything remotely close to implying they were terrible?

I think I remember a powerhouse Oregon St. team beating a stall-ball Stanford team 18-14 in 1979; more recently, I think Washington St. beat somebody around 40-37 a few years ago.
