the coaches have no way of seeing enough teams to know.
the majority of the AP are fags and dont know football
the bcs uses computers...wtf? this means that human decide how they calculate. a predetermined calculation.
Kirk Herbstreit is just a talking head, but i recently just realized that there are a few like him that know whats is going on.

they are so hung up on unbeaten teams, in the Nfl there are teams with 6 loses that have won super bowls. Records dont indicate who is champion. Wins in a bracket decide champions in all sports but the PFL.

So who's in your playoff and how many teams? I know a team ranked in the 20s that would have a real good shot at winning a national title in your playoffs.

agree with dirty dirty, its all about the bucks. For that reason, it will never change.

I know the arguments have been said, but it really does make every week matter. Also makes for easier capping i think, you never know what your gonna get in the NBA/ NFL (which is why i only follow the other smarter people on here for those). Being a Bama fan, I also like that we benefit from the strength, and the presumption of strength that the SEC has.

If anything I would go to a +1 system, but that still wont help out your 20's ranked team. IMHO, you should be forced to win your conference or championship to even be considered for the NC game. That being said, I wouldn't want any part of neutral field battle with Boise, or Nebraska with a healthy Martinez.

Is anybody playing as well as V Tech right now? I think they would have a great shot in any playoff system. But its college football, maintaining focus and playing well for 95% of the season isnt good enough. Gotta be great throughout the season, thats why I wouldnt go with a playoff.

I do agree that the current system doesn't always put the best two teams in the NC game, but I'd rather do it this way than have a playoff.

the big 12, SEC and the pac 10 have a stronghold on the College product. They are making all the dough. They have no reason to change. its about the money yes.

its more about these 3 conferences giving up the money. if they start a playoff system the money will still be there it will just be redistributed and will make college football more competitive. who wants that? not the sec big 12 pac 10, no.....
but the Big 10 sure does, haha you bunch of suck asses. big 10, acc, big east. those are the people that have to stop waiting on basketball season and demand change.
