I saw the spectrum get demolished today

At about one o clock this afternoon a wrecking ball hit the side of the spectrum in Philly today, a lot of great things happened there, the flyers won back to back Stanley cups, the great dr. J played and countless concert events. R.I.P. Spectrum

Sad day for Philly sportsfans. I remember going to many a sixers or flyers game at the spectrum growing up.

great hockey moments there indeed. kate smith singing god bless america. the broad street bullies fighting.. team ussr walks off the ice vs flyers in the middle of a hockey game after flyers scared the russians. bobby(call me bob) clarke breaks a russians leg.. The Sign Man putting up signs in the crowd, and those amazing Dave Schultz fights that took place in that building.

RIP the Spectrum.. it was a great building and always lots of electricity in there. greatest and loudest hockey fans in america in Philly.. hands down..
