I think everyone is talking about both of them. They are the biggest fight out there right now.

Manny says he plans on retiring in 3 years.

I have never boxed, other then the few in Junior High and High School, LOL!

But is it not hard to go up in all those weight classes and keep your speed and power? Maybe he is taking some kind of performance enhancing drug. I don't blame Mayweather for stressing on that blood test.

Mayweather has nothing to gain by losing or winning against Pacquiao. He wins, oh Mayweather should of won. He loses, Mayweather never hears the end of it, and it is his first loss.

why risk your perfect record unless your sure you will win.

He will still go down as one of the best no matter if he wins or not. A win will put him at the top but he will be near the top win or lose.

It would also depend on how he loss. If they had a Ward-Gatti fight it would do a lot for him even with a loss.

I disagree that he has nothing to gain just because so many people want this fight. They want to know who is the best out of the two fighters.

Have a hard fought fight and win. Maybe fight of the year plus is with out a doubt P4P #1.

Destroy Manny and he is with out a doubt P4P #1 and will amaze many.

Both fighters and the sport of boxing have a lot to gain from this fight.

if floyd and manny don't fight they need to fire their management teams. 1st fight will put at least 30 mil in each guy's pocket. figure it will be competitive enough to do a rematch and give each guy more than the 1st fight. maybe even a rubber match if each wins a fight. neither guy is very likely to do life changing damage to each other. so to pass up the opportunity to make anywhere from $60-$120 million a piece is just moronic on either guy's part.

In a vacuum I think Mayweather is better than Pacquiao, but I think Pacquiao would beat Floyd.

The guy who can fight at 147 and beat Pacquiao is imo Paul Williams. After his recent loss you could get a great price on him too.

I never noticed any speech problems with Mosley.

Mosley is a former champ and he took out Margarito in 9. I'm a fan of both and would like to see this fight if the Mayweather fight doesn't happen.

I agree Berto deserves a shot.

Chavez Jr is an up and coming son of a legend. He is doing pretty good and I would like to see what he could do against him.

i think it would be a great fight with neither getting too hurt... floyd is the only person in that class that can beat manny to some punches...not all, but some...floyd got caught by mosely, but after that, it was ugly...would be an awesome fight, hope it happens

He agreed to 14 days before fight, not Olympic style, which I think is day before or day of. Other fighters have agreed to this. Mayweather will be doing as well, so don't give me the fatigued/weak excuse.

@ people that think Pacquiao v. Mayweather won't happen. They're just building anticipation. Mayweather's record does a lot less for him than $30M in his pocket.

When Mayweather gets in the Ring with Pacroid you are going to see the difference between a guy who has defense fighting PacRoid then the guys who only come straight forward. Noway is it going to be Easy for Mayweather but I think Mayweather is going to turn it into his type of fight because his defensive style is just is so awkward. But I guess only time will tell

he's got enough hand speed to make up for perceived lack of power. those clean counters he tags opponents with take their toll and break the guy down. floyd is one of the smartest fighters inside the ring out there.
