IMO, home court advantage is only a big advantage for the 'good' teams. The teams with the better records or the most hype get the biggest home court advantage because they get a better turnout and more support. This isn't always the case, but for the most part, it is.

Not only have the Cav's been banged up but they've played one of the toughest schedules to start the season. The Cav's will compete for the Central and is in good shape with a trade exception. Right now, they are playing better as a team than the Heat. The problem with the Cav's is that they usually collapse in 1 quarter per game. They usually win 3 quarters but implode in 1 quarter which leads to losing the game. The Heat's been beaten worst in games than the Cav's actually. Tonight they were beat 1st half and 2nd.

Take away Lebron, Bosh and Wade with Jamison, Mo and AV (I know the Heat have the better 3) and the Cav's remaining cast is MUCH better than the Heat. In fact the Heat might have the worst players in the league after the Big3. Take away Wade being injured a lot and this team has real issues.
